The Funky Buskers: Supergroup Band

We recently had The Funky Buskers 3-piece band at our wedding on Saturday 20th August 2016 at Belleek Castle, Ballina.

We would just like to give you some feedback on it and you are welcome to use this on the website if you wish.

From start to finish the whole experience was excellent. That includes booking the band through Faye at Audionetworks and any other contact we had with her leading up to our wedding which was hassle free, helpful and extremely professional. We noticed that any e-mail we sent to Faye was replied to almost immediately and when planning a wedding that kind of efficiency means a lot.

On the day of our wedding when our coordinator brought us to the bar for a few moments away from our guests for a break, Pat Byrne took the opportunity to come up and have a chat with us and see if there was any additional songs we would like them to play (bearing in mind the band had already immediately agreed to play a list of requests we had sent on to Faye a few weeks in advance of the day). We both thought this was a really nice touch for him to come up and have a chat with us like that and he was an absolute gentleman to deal with and really personalised the whole thing.

When it came to organising our first dance music the whole thing yet again was no bother at all. All we had to do was send the name of the song to Faye a few days in advance and the band had it perfectly cued up through their sound system and ready to play. Pat again had been very polite in complimenting us on our song choice when he was chatting with us earlier.

Once the first dance was over the band immediately started and the floor remained full until they finished. They were absolutely fantastic and made the day for us and our guests.

Since our return from our honeymoon we have had many of the guests that attended enquire about getting contact details for booking The Funky Buskers for their own occasions which we have gladly passed on. We have also had many guests say they were the best wedding band they ever heard and that it was the first time they had heard a band at a wedding that they would gladly go and see at a normal gig!

We would like to sincerely thank Pat, Alan and Jay for giving a truly memorable performance and really adding something truly special to our wedding day. They have so much more to offer than a standard 'wedding band' - fantastic musicians, great song choices and Pats voice topped the whole thing off.

We also like to thanks Faye from Audionetworks for arranging everything so fantastically.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping us book The Funky Buskers for our wedding in Bellingham Castle on October 1st.

The reaction to the band has just been unreal, we had the 4 piece band at the evening reception and Pat acoustic at the drinks reception. A huge highlight of the day was Pat singing in the garden after dinner as we released balloons, it was a really special moment for us and he could not have been more accommodating. His voice is incredible.

The full band absolutely rocked the reception, the dance floor was jam packed from beginning to end - the set list was spot on and they sounded amazing. Just loved every minute of it.

Sorry it's so late but myself and Craig Whelan would like to thank you so much for your amazing performance at our wedding on October 17th. From the moment you started to play all of our guests were on the dancefloor and stayed up all night... you guys were a hit with them and they're still talkin about you!! Would definitely reccommend you to any B&G looking for a great band for their wedding. Also a special thank you for learning the father/daughter dance at such short notice - he really appreciated it. I just wanted to say a huge Thank You to yourselves and The Funky Buskers. You were super friendly and efficient to deal with right the way from start to finish which was such a huge help when planning the wedding. And as for the band - our guests are still raving on about them! The dance floor was packed literally all night long and the lads read the crowd so well to play a different type of song to get everyone going again if there was any bit of a lull at all (which there rarely was!) And we would like to say a special thanks to Pat for doing such a beautiful job on our first dance song, its something we will both always remember. It sounds like a cliché but we will genuinely recommend the Funky Buskers to anyone and everyone!

Hi Suzy,Enda and I just wanted to send you a note to say a huge thank you to both the Funky Buskers and Jeff for the music they performed at our wedding reception on Sat, 21st Nov. Alan, Pat and Jay were just so great to deal with and easy going, the same goes for Jeff. The music was just fantastic and I think we barely sat down all night. We also really appreciate the preparation and time you gave the process and how easy you made it for us.
So many people wanted us to pass on their appreciation, they really loved the music and had a ball. The music was just stunning and it just added so much to our day.
